Spring is coming: does your outdoor furniture need cleaning?
Cleaning methods depend on what your furniture is made of.
Wooden furniture: being more delicate, it needs special treatment. After thoroughly dusting, use lukewarm water and a neutral detergent. If the wood is faded or discoloured, you should use special oils or varnishes to restore its shine.
White plastic furniture: these items are the most common and practical to use. To clean them, arm yourself with a special degreaser and, using a rag or dishcloth, rub the plastic until it is thoroughly cleaned. If the dirt is persistent, we recommend our Vim Clorex: sprinkle the product onto the affected surface, leave it to act for a few moments and wipe the area with a damp cloth, until the stubborn dirt is completely removed. If your furniture is a little yellow, we recommend preparing a mixture of warm water and bleach, wetting a rag with it and using it to clean the items.
Wicker furniture: although it is beautiful and light, the main problem with wicker furniture is that dirt accumulates between the strands. To remove it, it is advisable to use a blower gun or a classic feather duster. After completing this operation, arm yourself with a solution of water and a drop of ammonia, wet a cloth in it and wipe the furniture, then rinse with plenty of water and let the furniture dry in the open air.
